Driftwood Sevens draw released, Homeboyz seeded first

Kabeberi Sevens champions Homeboyz RFC have been seeded first ahead of the Safaricom Driftwood Sevens, the third leg of the Safaricom Sevens Series which takes place in the coastal city of Mombasa on 24/25 August 2013. 

The deejays sit top of Pool A where they have been drawn alongside Western Bulls, Nakuru and hosts Mombasa.

Current series leaders Mwamba RFC are ranked second and headline PoolB where they will slug it out with Nondies, Kisumu and Kabras who feature in place of Eldoret RFC who will not be making the sojourn to the coast.

Defending series champions Quins are in Pool C alongside Strathmore, Daystar and Stormers.

Impala RFC are tournament fourth seeds and headline Pool D where they are lumped together with defending Driftwood champions KCB, Blak Blad and Mean Machine.

As has been the norm through this year's series, the Driftwood Sevens will also incorporate a second division tournament featuring sixteen teams competing in Pools E-H.

Technical University of Kenya are division two top seeds and sit top of Pool E alongside Mount Kenya, Catholic and newbies Aviators Embakasi. 

Bungoma RFc are in Pool F which also has Comras, Technical University of Mombasa and Ukunda.


Multimedia headline Pool G where they face opposition from Thika, Spartans and Malindi while Pool H has KCA, Masaku, JKUAT Voi and Pwani Sharks.
